Welcome to Bird Sound Identifier. By accessing or using our website, APIs, or services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read these carefully before utilizing our services.
1. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Bird Sound Identifier only for lawful biological research, educational, or recreational purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer our frontend applications or intercept backend API proxy communications.
- Bypass rate limits, flood the endpoints, or upload corrupted or malicious audio files designed to crash the parsing buffers.
- Utilize script automation or scraping tools to harvest database details.
2. Intellectual Property
All software, brand styles, visual configurations, bird animations, and structural designs are the intellectual property of Bird Sound Identifier. External model classifications, species classifications, and legal documents are subject to their respective creators' guidelines.
3. Audio Data Ownership
By recording or uploading audio files to our `/api/identify` route, you warrant that you have the right to process this audio. We do not claim ownership over your files. The audio is immediately processed in system RAM memory and discarded upon completion of the API proxy cycle.
4. Service Limitations & Termination
Our rate-limit policies restrict client IPs to a maximum of 50 requests per 15 minutes. We reserve the right to suspend, terminate, or block access to the website or application at any time without notice for users breaching these parameters or abusing server resources.
5. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with standard international web regulations and laws. Any disputes arising out of the use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the regional courts.
